Career Path
Théoxane LECARD studied law at the University of Geneva, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in 2021 and then at the Universities of Geneva and Laval Canada, where she obtained her Master’s degree in international and European law in 2023. In 2022, she also obtained the Certificate in Transnational Law, thereby deepening her knowledge of comparative law.
In June 2024, she obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions at University of Geneva, consolidating her training for the practice of law.
She joined MC Avocats SA in November 2024 as a trainee lawyer.
Experience
Parallel to her university studies, Théoxane LECARD gained a wide range of professional experience. She completed several internships in Switzerland, Portugal and Ukraine, where she acquired an in-depth knowledge of foreign legal systems. She was also involved in the International Criminal and Humanitarian Law Clinic in Quebec, Canada, where she strengthened her knowledge of international humanitarian law and human rights.
In 2024, she also completed an internship at United Nations during sessions of the Human Rights Council.
Théoxane LECARD also took part in several international simulations, such as the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
Moreover, she has been actively involved in a lot of student and humanitarian associations.
